Why use shelving labels?
Warehouse managers often choose shelving units, small or large, for storing small materials and products in an orderly fashion. The flexible, modular nature of this type of racking enables quick and easy stock changes. It goes without saying, that providing all boxes, bins and crates with proper identification is essential. This is where our custom-made shelving labels come in.
Suitable label materials for shelving labels
A flexible layout of your shelf racks often also means you need to have some flexibility in changing your shelving labels. One of the things you want to prevent is the costly and time-consuming work of having to remove old labels every three months and purchase new labels. When you opt foor one of our label materials, you can save time and money.
Removable labels
Removable shelf labels are a cost-effective solution if you deal with frequent stock changes or stock additions.
Magnetic labels
Shelf racks made of metal or plate steel are ideal for using magnetic labels. Easy to apply and remove.
Permanent labels
There a several options when it comes to shelving labels with a permanent adhesive, including freezer labels.
Print your own shelving labels
Some warehouse managers prefer to print their own shelving labels, because e.g. the location numbering changes frequently and a new label needs to be printed quickly. If this is also the case in your warehouse, we recommend using magnetic strips. You can print these yourself with a thermal transfer printer or you can use a marker pen to write the location numbers onto them. Proceed by cutting the magnetic labels to size and you are good to go.
