Paintmask labels

For powder coating, wet painting and chemical pre-treatment

With our paintmask labels, you can trace every component throughout the entire manufacturing process.

What are paintmask labels?

Paintmask labels are durable identification labels designed for industrial coating processes. They can withstand high temperatures, exposure to aggressive chemicals and mechanical stress. The labels do not shrink, melt or detach during powder coating, wet painting or chemical pre‑treatments such as degreasing or anodising. The polyester material adheres well to rough, untreated or pre‑coated surfaces, and the specialised label construction with an extra laminate ensures that the details of every component remain legible at every stage of production.

How to use the paintmask label

Which material is suitable for paintmask labels?

The choice of label material depends on the industrial process and the type of surface to which the labels will be applied. In most cases, we recommend a high-tack polyester label material, such as M1020 or M1009, because of its broad operating temperature range and heat resistance.

M1020 Polyester

  • °C: −40 to +150
  • Minimal shrinkage
  • REACH and RoHS compliant

M1009 Polyester

  • °C: −40 to +150
  • Shrinkage occurs from +180ºC
  • REACH and RoHS compliant
