Pedestrians, trolleys and carts
- Our solution: Economy floor label with a scratch-proof topcoat.
- Low-cost solution for floor identification.
- Label size: 189x90mm.
- Often imitated, never equaled, because each label is unique and custom designed.
- Suitable for indoor use.
- Suitable for smooth and slightly roughened surfaces in warehouses with mainly pedestrian traffic (trolleys, carts and cages) where forklift traffic does not drive directly over the labels.

- Minimal impact resistance thanks to the slanted sides.
- Suitable for warehouses with heavy traffic from forklifts and reach trucks that drive directly over the frames and where both pallets and forklift forks are continuously dragged across the floor.

Outdoor use

- Sealed metal frame (3 mm thick).

- Outdoor use.
- Minimal impact resistance thanks to the slanted sides.
- The label is finished with an extra thick, protective topcoat. Because it’s slightly recessed into the frame, it’s less susceptible to damage.
- The weatherproof construction makes the frame suitable for long-term outdoor use in all weather conditions.
- Suitable for warehouses with heavy forklift or freight traffic, cold storage and freezer warehouses, as well as warehouses where the floor is cleaned with a scrubber or polisher.

When do you choose floor labels?
Our Economy labels are a low-cost and durable solution for warehouse floor identification when the traffic consists of mainly trolleys, roll cages and rolling carts. The scratch-proof lexan topcoat of these polypropylene labels ensures the continued legibility of both the barcode and the plain text. A smart, tailor-made solution when you’re on a limited budget.
These labels are often used in warehouses with heavy traffic from standard material handling equipment, such as trolleys, carts and cages, and little to no forklifts or reach trucks. Even though Economy labels are made out of durable polyester with a strong acrylic adhesive, they aren’t the best option for a long-term solution if your warehouse experiences heavy traffic from forklifts, reach trucks etc. In those instances, we recommend choosing one of our metal floor frames. The label in these floor frames is protected by the metal frame and, in some versions, a label cover. On the plus side, the Economy labels are easy to install and fairly easy to remove if the situation calls for it.
When to opt for floor frames instead of floor labels?
If hundreds of pallets and products are continuously being moved by heavy forklifts, your warehouse requires a different identification solution: floor frames. These metal frames are available in different versions depending on the requirements of your working environment.
The standard floor frame kit has a rectangular frame which is 1.5mm thick. It’s suitable for indoor use in locations with an average amount of forklift traffic. The extreme version, on the other hand, is 3mm thick and oval in shape, giving it minimal impact resistance from any angle, thanks in part to the slanted sides. This particular floor frame is available in an indoor and an outdoor version. An ideal solution to identify locations with heavy traffic from forklifts, reach trucks and freight trucks.
The standard version can be mounted to the floor with industrial sealant. For the extreme floor frame kits you can use either heavy duty concrete screws or industrial sealant to mount the frames to the warehouse floor, concrete or tarmac.
The label that’s placed in the centre of the frame can be custom-designed to include a barcode and/or plain text. The standard and extreme indoor floor frame kits come with a replaceable label cover that provides long-term protection from abrasion. We recommend fixing this label cover in the corners with a silicone sealant. If, for whatever reason, you need to replace the label, the label plate is easy to remove with, for example, a Stanley knife. The label of the outdoor version lies recessed in the frame and is finished with an extra thick protective topcoat.

Floor marking
